Doug Orth has provided fantasy football content since 2000 and played for a quarter of a century. In 24 years of playing for money - including the last 15 in high-stakes leagues - he has finished in the black every season.
In addition to winning thousands of dollars in high-stakes leagues over the years, Doug has also enjoyed incredible success in industry leagues. In 15 years in The Huddle Expert Auction League, he has advanced to the title game eight times and won four championships. He also won the belt in the 14-team King's Classic league in 2020.
Among Doug's most prominent contributions to the industry is Preseason Matchup Analysis, which projects weekly individual matchups at each fantasy position before the season. He credits this process for his continued success in fantasy football, along with his ability to relay what he sees on film to the fantasy game.
Doug has penned multiple columns since joining FFToday in 2006 and becoming the site's senior writer in 2009. One of his most recent accomplishments was being named as a finalist for FSWA Article of the Year and FSWA Writer of the Year in 2023.
Another area in which Doug separates himself is NFL Draft prospect evaluation. His draft profiles have been featured prominently on FFToday for over 10 years and are among the most detailed draft write-ups in the industry.
Doug also serves as a co-host for The All-Out Blitz podcast on IDP+ and is a high school basketball official.
