Fox recorded two solo tackles, both of which were sacks, in the Chargers' 20-17 loss to the Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
The Chargers re-signed Fox on Wednesday, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Fox finished the 2022-23 season with 38 tackles (24 solo), 6.5 sacks and eight tackles for loss.
Fox registered six tackles (five solo) and two sacks in Monday's 20-3 win over the Colts.
Fox agreed to a contract with the Chargers on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
The Panthers released Fox on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
