Thursday Night Football
We survived last week’s crappy slate and the NFL immediately gave us a better game on Thursday night than any we saw in Week 7. Unfortunately, both the Packers and Cardinals will be playing a little undermanned with Davante Adams, J.J. Watt, and Allen Lazard each set to miss. I’m also looking at DeAndre Hopkins (Ari) under 65.5 receiving yards (120 pts) as he enters TNF with a hamstring injury that held him out of practice leading up to the game. Nuk has yet to see double-digit targets in a game this season and he’s finished with fewer than 64 receiving yards in four of his seven games this season. I also love Chase Edmonds (Ari) over 35.5 rushing yards (100 pts). The Cardinals removed Edmonds from their final injury report last Friday after he nursed a shoulder injury through the last two weeks of games and practices. He must be back to full strength after posting season-bests in snap share (69%) and carries (15). He finished with 15/81 rushing, which gives Edmonds 46+ rushing yards in five of his seven games. Sunday Football
Looking to go two for two here on Thrive Fantasy, with my first selection being Michael Pittman over 5.5 total receptions (115 pts). That last game for the Colts had the weather impacting it, and although Pittman has only caught six total balls across the last two games keep in mind what he did earlier this season. Pittman caught six passes for three straight games weeks three through five after an eight catch game in week two. I expect this game to be a good one, with heavy target to the sophomore who has had two games of 12 targets this season as is. Another selection will be Justin Jefferson under 1.5 total receiving TD’s (65 pts). Jefferson has three total TD’s in six games this season, and although this is a juicy matchup on paper vs. the Cowboys, there is a chance it is not if Dak Prescott does not suit up. Jefferson also had just two games of the 16 he appeared in last year with two TD’s, so the odds are low not just for him but most players in general to get two in one game.

We’re back to a pretty full Sunday slate with the Byemageddon behind us and just the Ravens and Raiders off this week. One of this week’s critical games is a pivotal showdown in the race for the AFC South between the Titans and Colts, and I’m taking A.J. Brown (Ten) over 74.5 receiving yards. It’s been a painfully slow start for Brown, but he’s starting to turn the corner over the last two weeks. He posted 15/224/1 receiving on 18 targets against the Bills and Chiefs, and Deebo Samuel just ripped the Colts for 7/100/1 receiving last week. Speaking of Deebo, I’m rolling with Deebo Samuel (SF) over 69.5 receiving yards. He’s leading the league with a 37% target share, and Samuel has posted 93+ receiving yards in four of his six games this season. The Bears are also giving up a generous 13.8 YPR to WRs this season. For my final prop, I’m taking Alvin Kamara (NO) under 56.5 rushing yards. The Saints traded for Mark Ingram this week and it sounds like he’s going to be relatively active right off the bat. I’m fading Kamara more for his matchup against this Buccaneers’ defense that’s giving up a league-low 51.3 rushing yards per game to RBs. Enjoy the slate and good luck! — Tom Brolley
Monday Night Football
The reeling Chiefs will look to get back on track against the Giants on Monday Night Football. I’m looking for the New York offense to have some success against a bad Chiefs’ defense so I’m taking Daniel Jones (NYG) over 242.5 passing yards (95 pts). Jones will get Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard back in the lineup, and opposing quarterbacks have thrown for 270+ yards in 5-of-7 games against the Chiefs this season. I’m also grabbing Sterling Shepard (NYG) over 3.5 receptions (75 pts) in his first game back since Week 6. Shephard has cruised over this number in his three full games this season with 26 combined catches, and the Giants could be forced to throw it a little more to keep up with the Chiefs on MNF.
