Week 7 Streaming DSTs

If you are one of those hooligans who streams defenses each week, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll be looking for 50% rostered or less in Yahoo! leagues.

New Orleans Saints (NO, 41%) @ Sea

The Saints D is coming off a bye after posting two top-5 finishes along with two more top-10 finishes so far this season. DC Dennis Allen continues to coach this defense into above average production each year and 2021 is no different, led by their 9 INTs, 6 sacks, and 18 points allowed per game. This week, they’ll face a Geno Smith-led offense that has produced top-10 DSTs two weeks in a row. The Saints are a road favorite, with Seattle expected to fall short of 20 points.

San Francisco 49ers (SF, 48%) vs. Ind

The Niners will always be a multiple-sack threat as long as Nick Bosa is healthy. They’ve posted at least 2 sacks in every game and though they had back-to-back games against the Packers and Russell Wilson-led Seahawks, their games versus the Eagles (11 PA) and Cardinals (17 PA) were a show of how dominant this defense can be. The Colts have surrendered at least 2 sacks per game themselves and have run hot and cold as an offense. Fresh off their bye, San Francisco is a 4-point favorite.

Las Vegas Raiders (LV, 15%) vs. Phi

After a hot start to the season, this Raiders D cooled off against the Chargers and Bears in Weeks Four and Five. They found their mojo again last week, however. Las Vegas sacked Teddy Bridgewater 5 times, as well as picking him off 3 times. We’re not expecting that kind of rout this week, but the Eagles have had trouble putting up points so far. They’ve scored 22 points or fewer in four of their last five games and have surrendered 9 sacks and 4 INTs in their last four games.
