Sunday Games

I’m expecting some points and some potential fireworks between the Rams and the 49ers on Sunday Night Football. Los Angeles and San Francisco have combined for 58.0 points per game since Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan took over in 2017, which is the highest average for any divisional opponents in that span. Even with all three backs involved in this offense now, I’m looking at Darrell Henderson over .5 rushing and receiving TDs since he’s shown a nose for the end zone with four TDs in his last four games. The 49ers secondary got gashed for 43 points by Ryan Fitzpatrick last week as he averaged 12.5 YPA thanks to multiple coverage busts by the 49ers. Jared Goff is leading the league in YPA (9.0) this season and I’m expecting Jared Goff over 263.5 passing yards. Jimmy Garoppolo will be another week removed from his initial ankle injury so I’m expecting better results for this passing. I’m taking George Kittle over 66.5 receiving yards after he posted 182 receiving yards in two games in this matchup last season. I’m also looking at Jonathan Taylor to have a break-out performance after a couple of relatively disappointing performances since Marlon Mack went down. The rookie has had some good spots early in the season, but he could have his best chance at success this week against a Bengals defense that’s allowing the third-most rushing yards per game to opposing RBs (131.4). Throw in the fact that Jordan Wilkins could miss this week or he could be limited after missing two practices at the end of the week and I’m really digging Jonathan Taylor over 85.5 rushing yards. As always, good luck! — Tom Brolley

I’m going with two props from the same game, both overs. Minnesota against Atlanta is popular for fantasy this week, mostly because Alexander Mattison is going to be in everyone’s DFS lineup. But both of these defenses have been pass funnel this year! So I like Calvin Ridley O 81.5 receiving yards, and Adam Thielen O 4.5 receptions. Ridley showed last week his goose egg against Jaire Alexander was a fluke, and Thielen showed he’s still Kirk Cousins’ guy. - Joe Dolan
